Your qualifications
• Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Metallurgy or Mining
• Fluent Italian and English written and spoken, German is a merit
• Experience from the steel industry is a merit
• Analytical skills
We are currently looking for a Technical Development Manager to SSAB Special Steels in Italy.

About the position
SSAB is a highly-specialized global steel company driven by close customer relationships. SSAB Develops high-strength steels and provides services for better perfomance and sustainability. The company is a leading producer on the global market for Advanced High-Strength Steels (AHSS) and Quenched & Tempered Steel (Q&T), strip, plate and tubular products, as well as construction solutions.
As Technical Development Manager, you are playing an important role of supporting SSAB’s customers with your technical competence and support in order to build customer value and profitability. The role also includes close collaboration with Tech support, product development, production and quality. Your geographical business area will be Italy, Greece and Switzerland. You will be traveling approximately 3-4 days a week to meet customers and also to visit SSAB’s mill in Oxelösund, Sweden.
